Gühring, leading manufacturer of professional drilling gear, commissioned Pfadfinderei to develop a Mediainstallation for their fair stand at AMB Stuttgart. After evaluating the specific segment of drilling industry, Pfadfinderei came up with the idea to use the spin-off product of drilling itself as the installations’ signature motif. A Helix of curved LED was developed and custom-built for the Gühring fair stand . The displayed content derived from the drilling process- lubricants, drilling chips and of course the borers themselves were rendered in an modern, colourful aesthetics in order to give the object a bright and coulorful impact.
